Mr. Chanin is responsible for implementing and interpreting several consumer protection laws such as the Truth in Lending Act (Regulation Z), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Regulation B), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (Regulation C), Truth in Savings Act (Regulation DD) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Mr. Chanin has spoken on legal and compliance matters at numerous conferences. He received his B.A. degree from American University in Washington, D.C., and his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
