This session focuses on the review process undertaken and the solution implemented by Tenneco to craft a best practice, global, multicurrency liquidity management structure. Specific attention will be given to why Tenneco selected a notional cash pool structure over a ZBA structure, how the notional cash pool structure works, and what Tenneco has done to enhance its notional cash pool structure to eliminate the local subsidiary cash management function by insuring all subsidiary level cash is centralized on a fully automated, same-day basis across multiple time-zones in multiple currencies enabling the same-day repayment of debt in the US.
