Business Combinations and Consolidated Financial Statements afterwards are changing with the effective date of SFAS 141R and SFAS 160. These two standards affect all business combinations whose acquisition date is in fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2008. Major changes occur in the determination of what constitutes a business combination, determination of the purchase price, accounting for non-controlling interests, accounting for in-process research and development, contingent consideration, and other changes. The SFAS 141R Workshop will cover these items and continuing items from which are integrated into SFAS 141R and SFAS 160, including deferred taxes and changes.
